Half-Life: Opposing Force is an expansion pack for Valve Software's science fiction first-person shooter video game Half-Life. The game was developed by Gearbox Software and published by Sierra Entertainment on November 1, 1999. Opposing Force is the first expansion for Half-Life and was first announced in April 1999. Randy Pitchford, the lead designer on the game, later noted that he believed Gearbox was selected to develop Opposing Force because Valve wanted to concentrate on their future projects. Over the course of development, Gearbox brought in a variety of outside talent from other areas of the video games industry to help bolster various aspects of design. Opposing Force returns to the same setting as Half-Life, but instead portrays the events from the perspective of a U.S. Marine, one of the enemy characters in the original game. The player character, Adrian Shephard.

Description
Contains bug fixes for various map for Half-Life: Opposing Force - single player. To note that the structure of the maps isn't changed at all , only entities have been edited. hide detail -

- fixed running ally grunt to medic with missing gun (shotgun added).

- fixed missing ambience sounds shown in console - the sounds properly plays within the game now.

- fixed player start - player is no longer stuck in ground if going to map through console commands.
- fixed interruptible event script speach for torch ally when healed , the speach plays correctly now.

- fixed sv startsound precache error for button spark, the sound is correctly precached and played.
- fixed Baby voltigore. When dead the npc will dissapear and no longer cause death movements upon level change or game save/load.

- fixed shock troopers and male assassins spawn , npc will no longer get stuck in "found but can't play" stage.

NPC Fixes:

The following NPC experiencing SV Startsound precache errors have been fixed.The sounds are correctly precached and played.
npc shock trooper
npc pit drone
npc voltigore
npc gonome

The following NPC experiencing "No such sentence group" erros have been fixed.New sentence speaches have been added to some.
npc recruit
npc drillsergeant
npc scientist
npc barney
npc otis
npc ally grunts including medic and torch

WARNING: Sentence groups have been removed from original human grunts so if you play the original half life through opposing force you will get sentence errors.
This has been done to reduce the number of sentences cause of limited sentences that can be used in order to fix Opposing Force sentences.

Note: The only thing i wasn't able to fix was the Ally grunts death sounds , seems it's a problem with the dll file. So yeah hope you enjoy the patch with soo many fixes :)

Feedback could be very useful for a future patch if new bugs are found.
