Rack_focus.veg shows how you can change focus between the foreground and background. Track 3 is the entire shot, with a keyframed blur on the event. Track 2 uses blur, color correction, and cookie cutter event fx to create a slash light effect. Track 1 uses a mask (event pan/crop) to cut out the cup from the rest of the scene. A keyframed blur on the event starts with the cup out of focus and rolls into focus, while the lower tracks start in focus and roll out of focus.
