1 DDE: read and write in spreadsheets

Windows DDE functionality which enables the user to read and write
data from taylor to a spreadsheet and to communicate with taylor via self
written programs or macro's, is not described in the manuals.
This subject is explained in a seperate help file called 'ddehlp.hlp' and
can be found in your taylor directory (if you installed the help files).
You will not find any information about this subject in the manuals.

2 Copy and Paste element information.

You can use the right mouse button when clicking an element to Copy and
Paste element information between elements and to view results and edit
schedules. This information is not in the printed manual. Refer to the help
system (Model | Elements).

3 Animation speed 0

The speed parameter of the 'View | Animation' dialog is extended with
a '0' speed operator, indicated as 'interval' speed. An explanation of this speed
operator and when you should use it can be found in the User's Guide section
of the help file, under 'View | Animation'.

4 Creating 3d icons

Making your own 3d icons is not integrated in Taylor for Windows. However,
you can create your own 3d icons with a separate DOS tool, which comes from
the former Taylor for DOS. After installation of Taylor for Windows you will find
a subdirectory 'icon3d'. In this directory you will find a file 'icon3d.exe'. If you run
this program (type 'icon3d' at the DOS prompt) a number of files will be unpacked.
To start the iconeditor type 'ico3d'. Information about the program can be found
in the file 'icon3d.txt'.

5 Cut/Copy/Paste in tables

The Cut/Copy/Paste keys of the tables, documented in 'Model | Tables'
paragraph of the User's Guide have been modified. Ctrl-V,Ctrl-X and Ctrl-C
do not apply to a selected area but to a single table-cell. To copy and
paste information from a selected area, you should use Shift-Delete and Shift-Insert.
(see 'Model | Tables').

6 Viewpoint manipulator

The description of the Viewpoint Manipulator (View | Viewpoint manipulator, User's Guide), has
changed from the description in the manual. Refer to the help file for the extended
information on the viewpoint manipulator.

7 Changed functionality of speedbar button

The speedbar button of the main window in Taylor does not result in the
execution of the Text Editor but in the execution of the Function Editor.
